「クルマのある風景」
を先日、横浜都市発展記念館まで見に行って来ました。
広瀬始親氏が撮影した写真をもとに、港にあふれるアメ車など当時の街角でみられた
『クルマ』にスポットを当て、昭和30年頃の横浜を振り返ろうーというもの。
当時の横浜には多くのアメリカ兵がおり、彼らのプライベート車であることを示す『A』ナンバーを
つけたアメ車が多く行き交っていたそうです。
オールズモビル、シボレー、フォード、ビュイック、ポンティアックなどブランドも多彩で、客船が到着すると
大桟橋にはずらりと見送りのアメ車たちが並んだそうです。
ちなみにこの頃、クラウン、スカイライン、スバル360、ブルーバードなど国産各社の代表車種
が次々と誕生していたが、庶民には手の届かないもので、一般家庭に普及したのは昭和40年代
以降のことであったそう。
ところ変わって現在。今でもこの辺はアメ車に遭遇する確率が多い。

広瀬氏はご存命で、港南区に在住しているそうです。現在95歳...。
今も昔と変わらず端正な顔立ちのカッコイイおじいちゃんです。

Many American servicemen were in Yokohama of those days, and many candy cars which attached the "A" number which
shows that it is their private vehicle had gone back and forth.
Oldsmobile, Chevrolet, Ford, Buick, Pontiac, etc. were variegated, and when the passenger liner arrived, the candy vehicles
of the send-off were located in a line with the large pier in a row.
although the representation vehicle type of each domestic company, such as a crown, a skyline, Subaru 360, and the Blue Bird,
was incidentally born one after another these days, a hand does not reach people and it spread through ordinary homes
after the Showa 1965.
